If you like Himalayan Salt Lamps you are going to love Brazilian Salt Crystals!!!

Our Brazilian Salt Crystals are solar evaporated from the clear blue waters off the coast of Brazil. The salt crystals are large, semi transparent chunks, that when lightly rinsed with water, create a clear shimmering crystal. The salt crystals can be used to make Salt Pourri, artfully arranged in a bowl and placed on a sunny windowsill, or heated with a soy candle in an aromatherapy oil burner. Please avoid heat sources generated by electricity as it will negate the positive effects of the salt.

We breathe an average of 37 lbs of air each day. Studies indicate that we receive up to 60% of our energy from the air we breathe. A correct balance of positive and negative ions in the air is necessary to keep us healthy. A depletion of negative ions in the air results in less oxygen for us to inhale. And according to Dr. Albert Krueger, from the University of California, a “negligibly small” amount of negative ions were powerful enough to kill bacteria and quickly take them out of the air so they were less like to infect people.

Heated salt crystals significantly reduce a wide range of indoor air pollutants, thus mitigating allergies, sinusitis, headaches, migraines and some respiratory ailments. This is because heated salt crystals absorb the moisture in the air and then emit negative ions as the moisture evaporates. Negative ions help to balance serotonin levels which elevate mood and reduce the effects of stress while making you feel relaxed and energized. Heated salt crystals also limit the effects of radiation from computer monitors which limits computer related headaches. It can be effective as an alternative to soy for women’s health. It has been reported to lower blood sugar levels, reduce appetite, promote cleansing of the digestive tract and interfere with tumor growth. Bladderwrack may cause unexpected effects when interacting with other prescription drugs, herbs or supplements. Consult your physician before using and do not use on a daily basis for more than 2 weeks at a time, with an equivalent break in between, to avoid excess iodine.
